Venue Details

The Campmeeting

At this time, this venue can accommodate 50 people, it is important that you register.  Also note, that we need many hands to help with food preparation and clean up:)  It's going to be a blessing working side by side.

The location for the campmeeting is our property and this ariel view was taken several years ago.  It probably won't be quite so green and full May 1-10 and the food won't be growing outside of the greenhouse like it is in this picture. Tents will be set up I THINK we are going with the area in the upper left of the picture in the tree line.  The parking lot and driveway is currently much larger than pictured. This is a homestead, so there is lots of projects going on all the time, which provides opportunities  for "mini workshops" if there is any interest in agriculture/gardening, bee keeping, logging/milling, etc.

We have a to do list to accomplish before May 1:(big Praise to God for those signed up to help!!)

Early March:

1) Finish porch rails and steps on main house (location of the kitchen we will be using and dining area) Clean up.

last 10 days still working on this as of 4-20-2026

2) Major clean up on the south property line (right side of picture)  to allow 3 more RV spots and also redo the culvert on this driveway. 4-20-2026 culvert done. Clean up nearly done. RV spots planned to be complete next 10 days.

UPDATE (Feb 26, 2026): Just been approved to run new electric service to wooded area 4-20-2026 Electric Done.

Septic modifications (4-20-2026 done) being planned.  Please keep progress in prayer.

3) Finish up paint and trim on house and out buildings (4-20-2026 remains undone).

Early April:

1) Build the sauna/shower house (12x20) 4-20-2026 sauna is put off til fall convocation to my dismay.

The bee hives are in the spot the sauna is going to go, but we are 1\2 way there to moving them.  New stand being built now. 4-20-2026 bees moved to new spot, shower house is 1/2 done and progress continues.

2) Possibly building a shelter with electric (instead of renting a meeting tent) If time should allow. (4-20-2026 Shelter House Done!!) Email sent to tent rental place, waiting on pricing and details. (2-27-26)(no longer needed 4-20-2026)

Please pray for a miracle of dry ground so we can work freely and enjoy the camp better.... 4-20-2026 God has answered this prayer incredibly!!!! We return the excavator today, much dirt work was accomplished very little rain, praise God.

The Evangelistic Meetings

The venue for the evening evangelistic meeting we are penciled in at the Bicentennial Park this location is allowing us May 4-May 7, but we must move for May 8 and May 9 as it is reserved already that weekend.  God will provide:)

Option 3) Bicentennial Park.  A spacious park and natural amphitheater located directly on the Ohio River, frequently hosting large community events. This option is actually free, but we will need a sound system of some sort for the evangelist (as of 4-20-2026 voice amplifier purchased battery opperated and tested works great)... and people will have to bring camping chairs or a blanket for themselves.  It is a beautiful spot by the Ohio river. Evangelism team can walk the river inviting people to come hear the message as it's going on.

Pray for the evangelism team who will be working a week prior to the event and during the meetings knocking on doors and working parking lots with literature and flyers.
